Jedd Fisch

There are no play calls/design for poor personnel

NONE!!!

Anyone trying to assess Jedd based on his work with Jacksonville has it out for him to begin with.

Meanwhile, all the guys making excuses for Fish are the same guys who were killing D'Onofrio and who are already sticking pins in their James Coley dolls after 2 games.

You obviously weren't around last season during the D'Onofrio wars

Well, I totally understand coaches use college coordinator positions to move up the ranks. My only issues for Fisch for leaving is that I liked him, thought he was a good OC and leaving UM for Jax is probably a step down in terms of talent to work with! That team is TERRIBLE! Why leave for a lame duck position? Jax is exhibit A for why the NFL should remove a couple teams, the league is watered down talent wise, and Jax has done 0 to deserve a team. I just felt like if Fisch had waited he could have gone to a bit better of a situation.

No point in wasting time with the Fisch vs Coley situation. Fisch is gone and honestly I dont see Coley going anywhere for at least a couple seasons. I think Coach Coley may be dealing with some of the stuff Ag dealt with in his first yr. Some guys had a ton of faith in Fisch, liked Fisch and now Coley needs to win them over a bit. It will take a little for these guys to hit their stride as a group. The dedication is there from the players and now AG has an absolut stronghold on this locker room. This team will follow and trust the coaching, I actually think these next two games are perfect for this offense. We should mop the floor with Savannah and that will allow us to throw it around and get our timing down. We should also do the same with USF. We could very well be a well ioled machine to start the ACC schedule.

Ignoring your thoughts on his abilities as a coach, he walked into a bad situation. He got an upgrade in pay and is coaching in the pros but the organization is terrible.

IMO, he should have waited for a better opportunity given what was coming back and the job he ended up taking. He never struck me as a college guy so I was not shocked he went back to the pros.

He could of stayed here, he will be looking for another college OC job after this season.

Wasn't directing that comment at you because I know you've been reasonable about the whole D'Onofrio thing. It's just funny to see guys so eager to make excuses for the Jacksonville OC while most of them either crucified or sat around watching the nincompoops crucify D'Onofrio and are already busting out their pitchforks for Coley.

I do not believe for a second that Gabbert is the qb there after this season. I actually see Fisch taking Morris early in round two. That team needs help at soooo many positions though....lol

No chance. Unless the Jags fire their entire coaching staff he's there for the long haul. Gus Bradley and Jedd are tight going back to their Seattle days.

Agree with Fisch needing to stay two more years minimum.

I hate to say it but the Jaguars should get Tebow. Give the offense potentially something and gives those jort lovin' redneck hillbillies a reason to go to the game.

Jaguars also blow major dongs personnel wise. Gonna be a while till he sees good results.

His ignoring of MJD and stressing throwing on first and second was epic fail. Personnel (read: Gabbert) aside, the oline was built to block for MJD and that clown abandoned that idea once down a couple scores.

Hope he has a steep learning curve because that was ugly. Best thing to happen to Jedd in that game was Gabbert's injury.

Couldn't watch any of that game, but when you have an MJD in the backfield he's got to see the ball 25 times per game just to take the pressure off the QB's.

MJD isn't that good anymore. He's already passed that "age" where RB's start being less effective.
