Jedd Fisch

Impossible. Jed Walsh invented offensive football. He killed everyone here. He must not have been there yesterday.

Jaguars also blow major dongs personnel wise. Gonna be a while till he sees good results.

His ignoring of MJD and stressing throwing on first and second was epic fail. Personnel (read: Gabbert) aside, the oline was built to block for MJD and that clown abandoned that idea once down a couple scores.

Hope he has a steep learning curve because that was ugly. Best thing to happen to Jedd in that game was Gabbert's injury.

Couldn't watch any of that game, but when you have an MJD in the backfield he's got to see the ball 25 times per game just to take the pressure off the QB's.

The poor guy inherited Blaine Gabbert.

That's like being asked to man the front lines without a weapon. Bill Walsh wouldn't be able to do a **** thing with Gabbert at QB....it's unfair to judge Jedd until he gets at least an average NFL starting quarterback.

Bring on c. Henne.

Gabbert is easily one of the 5 worst starting QB's in the NFL today. He might actually be the worst one.

Henne can't be any worse.

He has the epitome of an average NFL QB in Chad Henne. The judgements can now begin.

Setting the world on fire fellas!

First offensive points on a squandered First and Goal from the 4, a field goal, at 5:19pm on Week 2!!! With the superior QB playing (Henne), no less.

Local Florida television station apologizes for airing Jacksonville away games to its constituents

WKMG TV issued the scrolled message on Sunday. It read that NFL policy states the station must carry all Jags away games. The end of the message said: "We apologize for any inconvenience.''

Viewers then took to Twitter to remark on what many saw as an apology from the station.

But WKMG vice president and general manager Skip Valet says the arrangement is nothing new. He says for nearly two decades Orlando has been designated the secondary Jaguars market and has carried all the away games. As he put it: "I know it's frustrating, but as a CBS station in this market you have to carry the away games.''

The Jaguars scored an NFL-low two points last week and are coming off the worst season in franchise history. They have missed the playoffs 11 of the last 13 years.

So now the thing to do is bash one of our former coaches who used UM as a springboard to the NFL, which undoubtedly makes the UM OC job more attractive? Good stuff guys.

It's natural counterpoint to the 'Jedd Fisch invented football' crowd who are using Jedd as a sledgehammer to attack Coley. It's pretty simple. No need to go Molly Ringwald Breakfast Club over it.

Jedd Fisch was a work in progress. He should have stayed here another two years, IMO. He was lucky enough to have contacts that got him to the NFL way before his time. Again, my opinion. He still had a lot to prove here. He wasn't bad here, but we were comparing him to disasters. Somehow though, his status has been elevated beyond his actual accomplishments.

YMMV

There are no play calls/design for poor personnel

NONE!!!

Anyone trying to assess Jedd based on his work with Jacksonville has it out for him to begin with.

No doubt. Not really Jedd's fault but wow this team is just as bad as the Dolphins circa Cam Cameron.

Or put in other words:

Scott Bair ‏@BairCSN 36s
The #Jaguars have scored five points in seven quarters. Yikes. #Raiders have held them to 120 yards total offense, -5 in the 3rd quarter.

Yeah. My loyalty is with UM and Coley, not some uber genius who used UM as a springboard for another job. The inventor of offensive football is lighting it up in Jax.

Meanwhile, all the guys making excuses for Fish are the same guys who were killing D'Onofrio and who are already sticking pins in their James Coley dolls after 2 games.
