Campbell, Herbert, and Hillery all have played at guard recently (by my recollection) and proven they aren’t tackle options.

At tackle Miami has:

Nelson
Scaife (who is way better as a guard)
El Gammal

Miami has (dead) bodies at guard. At tackle they have almost nothing and the guys to back them up have been horrific.

The quickest way to success is to build on strengths. We should have really pushed for this kid and really stack chips at Dline. I believe the way we get back to relevance will be our Dline. Even when we are bad we get studs. If you can rush the passer consistently with 4 you will be in good shape.

That’s great and all, but there are Glaring Needs at other positions that doesn’t afford Miami the Luxury to stack chips at the expense of other needs. Let’s abandon the “Quickest way” theory and just systematically build the roster with Good talent starting with the OL. We need to add along with the Obvious elite targets OL, LB, and DB to finish the class.

Yo, saw the dumbbest **** today as it pertains to the DL. Goofs out there really don't think our DL room is impressive outside of Rousseau.

Saying Phillips is overhyped.
Harvey ain't it.
Ford a bum.

Can't vibe with some of our fans sometimes. They just want to be ****ed off lol.

Maybe cause those guys have done nothing on the field..........yet. I wouldnt call them bums but tired of Greentree All Americans. They should get the chance next season though

There is where I see it. We have Nelson as the only true tackle with experience. We have a bench full of guards and guys who lack skills to be tackles. If Scaife was meant to be a tackle he wouldn’t have started at guard this year.

The few tackles we have are unproven in El Gammal and the incoming kids. We need tackles. Period. Even Rivers has skills that would work at guard.

He looks great in his HS film and people have a right to question it....it's a transfer he was injured and things didn't work out at UCLA. Things are working against him but it's ok to question him I don't see why people aren't allowed to question him. The man that brought Tate over who was over hyped....we are allowed to question anything Diaz and the staff do at this point they gave us enough reason to

Even with Garvin gone we have Phillips, Rousseau, Harvey, Williams, Height, the other Williams, and the other Williams (wow I just realized we bout to have 3 williams on the d line) plus Elijah Roberts might start at DE and next class has some good ones in Florida in Bryce Langston, Jabari Ishmael, Keanu Koht, Cade Denhoff, Desmond Watson, KJ Ellis, Chamon Metayer (could end up also at tight end or off ball linebacker, Patrick Payton (could also play off the ball), Dallas Turner (could also play off the ball). Get 2-3 of those and keep stacking.
