Soooo...

He was ALWAYS a 4-star on the 247 stand-alone rating. At this time, 247 has ONLY given 5-stars to FOUR recruits, Arch, Malachi, Nico, and Cormani.

However, with the Rivals, ESPN, and on3, Wayne had a 5-star COMPOSITE rating on 247.

Then, within a short time of the announcement, on3 REDUCED Wayne's rating to a 4-star, thus ALSO dropping him to a 4-star on 247 COMPOSITE.

Bizarre.

I went to his page right after he committed . He was ranked 30th now he’s 41

Fair enough, although I’m probably not screaming bias for being the same rating as he was 32 days ago.

To us fans we can just shrug it off and say whatever. I feel bad for Wayne, to be a 5 star is an exclusive club. Pretty ****** to do it within minutes or hours of him announcing his commitment.

Small private school fan bases don’t generate clicks. Uncommitted elite players looking at SEC schools generate clicks. I’d be shocked if most of our guys don’t drop a bit. Whatever I plan to look back in 3-4 years at this class as the foundation for what’s happening and they can just go double barrel middle fingers to all the ranking sites

Think there was a bat signal before his commitmment.
While we're on this topic of inquiry, I wonder if he's Bruce Wayne's grandson and maybe that had something to do with it?
