QB management is hard. Stacking 5* kids doesn't work, because they won't stay, leaving no depth. Probably need to start getting capable transfers every year to keep the depth chart manageable.

you will never stack high stars on high stars anymore. kids will move on. portal recruiting is as important as HS recruiting bc you will lose guys after a single year

They lost 2 QB's to the Portal & Raiola got flipped from their 24 class.

Their room is pretty thin right now, it's basically just Beck, Gunner Stockton & Ryan Puglisi as the 24 class TF. So adding in Maiava gives them a starter for next year after Beck declares.

Plus Beck is still weighing his options.

Isn't the USC QB room thin at QB as well in terms of scholarship QBs? USC misses on Howard and this guy who would rather back up at UGA then be coached by Riley definitely makes you wonder exactly what is going on at USC.
