Because there aren’t better options out there right now.
We were at the no-limit table, went all in on Mateer, lost that hand and had to move to the $1/$2 blind tables and this is what is available. It is what it is.
Bro we’re at a New Mexico Indian reservation lounge full of chain smoking alcoholic seniors popping rolls of nickels at the slot machines so the drinks keep coming.
I’m keeping an eye out for a full set of dentures as that’s the best thing this desert oasis has going for it.

I’m usually not this Mopey but the year didn’t start off too well for me. I’m grumpy as fck right now. Please bear with me.

If his name doesn't show up by say Monday due to the 5 day buffer post bowl game, wouldnt he have to wait to enter until the april (spring) window?

I don't think he's a grad transfer guy. Only a sophomore....wait maybe he is? He shirted in 22. Unlv in 23. Usc in 24.

A real plan would’ve had multiple options. Mateer would’ve been sick obviously but that was a long shot. Mendoza mensah take a risk on a Jackson Arnold. If you’re gonna try annd get a kid to hop in then go anfter robertson at Baylor or the tcu kid. Or pay up and get a big name like beck or ewers.

This ain’t it.
Mensah was a kid you couldn’t wait around on.

Hence, Mendoza then was the back up plan to Mateer.

Mateer did you a solid by committing right away and not dragging things which then you should’ve automatically pivoted to Mendoza.

Instead, they asked him to wait longer and he said, **** that and **** you!

The way this program is being run is a **** show!

I personally would’ve pivoted to Mensah on day #1 because the Wazzu OC and QB coach were already in place at Oklahoma.

But those hints weren’t smacking Mario hard enough in the face and we are forced to take whatever is left and just @TakeitinDiaz 😜
