2026 Jasen “JRoc” Lopez 4* WR from Chaminade via True North

Kid is a hooper.

I know Russell wants to play football and basketball in college, but at the high school level, Lopez is a MUCH better basketball player from these highlights. He could legit play basketball in college. Russell likely translates better to college basketball because of his length and jumping ability, but Lopez is a true point guard. You can never have enough point guards.

Love this kid. He's a clone of X, same number and all. He gave the Heritage secondary the blues. That was first time seeing him in person. I didn't know who he was prior to the game. Him and Mali were the 2 best WR's I watched this season. That game was fun to watch because of those 2.

2. WR Jasen Lopez

Jasen Lopez was the primary challenger to Messiah Hampton for On3 MVP honors. The Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna standout had his way with every defensive back he faced during 1-on-1’s. Lopez put on a route-running showcase, proving lethal while working over the middle of the field. The Sout Florida native possesses outstanding start-stop quickness. He generated considerable separation very quickly within the route on most of his reps. At one point, Lopez broke the ankles of an opposing corner with a quick shake at the top of his route. The ball skills were also clean, as he caught every on-target pass we saw come his way, including some skillful over-the-shoulder tracking. Lopez is a two-sport star at Chaminade-Madonna. He was the Lions’ leading wide receiver with 1,300 yards and 14 touchdowns and is averaging 25 points per game in basketball while holding high-major offers on the hardwood.

D$ in the UA Next Wrap up

Three-star WR Jasen Lopez (Chaminade) might be the best receiver in South Florida. He's already a polished route-runner, even though he spends half the year scoring 25 PPG on the hardwood. On the football field, he's strong, balanced, and a hands-catcher. Nobody covered him all afternoon.

Lopez is a must get. Can't let Clemple take this kid. Can't let Fran Brown take this kid. The Gates and the Domers will be on him hard also.
