Jarrett Stidham Transferring from Baylor

His spring game was great.
If Seth Russell wasn't there he wouldn't have transferred. Don't we play LSU for the opener in 2017?

If Kaaya bounces it'd be nice to have a QB that can beat that defense and put Miami back on the map

Yea you're right, Shireffs would definitely start over Stidham who's 2-1 as a starter with 1265 yards, 12 tds and 2 INTs

Are people supposed to be impressed by a guy who's started 3 games and has some mop up duty numbers in what was widely regarded as the biggest joke of a schedule? Maybe he would start over him, maybe he wouldn't, but I wouldn't use last year's statistics to say that Stidham is the next big thing.
Too bad the 3 starts were Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma and threw 6 tds and 2 INTs with 935

You have a real bad tendency to talk out your ***, don't you??

Wow you just blew my mind!

You're really a joke dude. I know who the games were against. Kansas St with a whopping 6-7 record (huge win). Oklahoma game he lost with a 50.8 QBR, 2 td's and 2 int's. Ok State game he played the first half before getting injured. Super impressive resume, please go on with more misleading statistics.

You forgot to mention that is RAW QBR, not the Adjusted QBR....which is what everybody goes by....not the RAW QBR

The adjusted QBR goes 94.3, 73.2, and 81.9 in that order

Jarrett Stidham Game By Game Stats and Performance - ESPN

Btw I'm almost done going through every game and doing the math on the 3rd down conversions, I hope you didnt think I forgot. Also I don't think you're going to like the answer either.

That's my mistake. I was looking at the ESPN box score and thought they were using adjusted QBR. That's slightly better, but I still wouldn't go nuts over a few games where potential for greatness (and not greatness) was shown and say he's unequivocally better than any of our younger guys who haven't even played yet.

As for the 3rd down conversions - there's nothing to like or dislike. It sounded like an opinion and not a fact, so I'll be interested to see what data you present and what comparisons you show to make that data relevant.

Y'all sleeping on Shireffs.

Stidham started against oaklahoma and played really good, id take him over shireffs

QBR of 50.8 is "really good"?

Came in and played well, the defense lost them the game, also for a true freshman thats pretty coming in not being the starter from the start of the season

Where'd you hear that from??

real insiders

Lol you mean to tell if I went and asked my pops and the entire player personnel department of the team he works for, they'll all tell me he's a head case

#idoubtthat

your dad will lie to you and nobody else is going to answer your phone call
ben why you gotta hurt my sensitive feelings like that :confusion:

The important thing is he loves you very much

Shireffs is putting on weight and getting ready. After Kaaya bolts fo da NFL he will show da world that he is a college fooseball God!!!

In all seriousness I think Kaaya will return for his SR year and be a top 5 pick in 2018 draft.. Rosen will be number 1

Lots of rumors about Rosen being a head case.

Have heard that too. I believe Mora even publicly called him out over it. It doesn't trump ability but the "intangibles" and personality sure as **** will favor a kid like Kaaya that more than likely will have some ringing endorsement from Richt in the Draft and at the Combine than a kid that's getting an early rap as a spoiled punk that may have clashed with his head coach.

He definitely isn't coming here and people have to be joking when saying Allison would start over him... Lol Stidham will be one of top QBs in the nation soon enough.

This forum really cracks me up. Allison goes from being the most important part of the recruiting class to being a second-rate QB once he finally signs. Hilarious.

Stidham put up good numbers in Art Briles's offense. No one's ever done that.
