Yeah Jarren under threw that ball to Harley, but his footwork mechanics where not necessarily correct and he didn’t step into the throw like that whatsoever
Jarren didn’t lose this game. 4th and 17 did. QBs ain’t pitchers.Lmfao. He’s proficient. You guys have watch trash for so long you mistake meets expectations with world beaters.
A stud doesn’t lose these games and fail to complete any meaningful deep ball
Agree he didn’t lose it. I like the kid. Best prospect we have had in 25 years. Very accurate. But this stud talk grinds my gears. We anoint guys without results.Jarren didn’t lose this game. 4th and 17 did. QBs ain’t pitchers.
His second year in the program. Kids like Slovis at USC and the UNC QB are more advanced than Jarren, right out of HS. Bottom line is we haven't really had a standout QB since Dorsey, almost a generation ago. Be nice if our OL could give Jarren time to do something other than dink and dunk. Or, to find out he can't do more than that and give Kosi or Martell a shot.
All the reports talked about how gifted a passer he is.
That much is evident. But also, Jarren seems like a very cerebral player. He thinks a lot. You can see it when you watch him play.
Sometimes he thinks a little too much like the pass to Mallory that he could’ve ran in for two.
We have to remember he’s a young guy. Just like Kaayas first year. This will be a year of growth for him and as he gets more confident he can only get better.
I really really like this kid through two games. His junior year will be special. Which is perfect as that’s when we play Bama with a legit QB.
Pumped to watch him grow. I know everyone is frustrated but Jarrens development alone is reason enough not to abandon Miami football like so many of you guys want to.
It’s game 2 with two freshmen OL. Maybe wait a bit for conclusionsEnos is part of the problem. Good QB coach. Average play caller.
Based on comparative effectiveness, maybe our OC should dumb down our offense for Jarren as well.UNC’s QB is asked to make one read. The reason he’s staring down his WR is because they are adjusting their routes based on the coverage. He isn’t more advanced than JW. The offense is dumbed down for that OC’s QBs, and he changes the play for them on the sideline before the snap.
You guys are actually whining about more deep shots when WRs are dropping deep shots and short throws. Execution matters more.
That was also a PI, kid had Thomas's left arm hooked and nobody including the commentators said a dang thing.Agree. He threw a bomb and JT dropped it. Execution is > than just taking deep shots.
Don't believe he had more Command of his offense. You don't get nearly 500 yards of offense by not having command of the offense. He ran it very well, we came up short in red zone situations and our D let us down.Jarren Williams still doesn’t look confident on the field. Still looked like he’s thinking a bit, playing safe. The true freshman QB on UNC, looked more in command of his offense despite having a worse team than Jarren.
Dan Enos is over thinking it. Everytime Miami got inside 20 yards, it’s multiple motions when you should be keeping it simple.

Sometimes I think the Perry/Martell groupies are the ones still out here trying to find any tiny *** flaw this QB does and sully him for it. It's completely undeserved. Jarren has been the one bright spot on our roster that has otherwise seen mediocrity. You guys are living in La La Land. Proficient? Kid is better than our last NC winning QB. He has far less to work with across the board. WTF are you brothers fugging talking about. He literally THREW the go ahead score. ALL he needed was his ******* TEAMMATES to get off the field on 4th & SEVENTEEN!
JW didn’t lose the game. Missed FGs, ****** defense, and a fraud *** DC did.
His arm is weak but accurateYeah - and this kid’s arm is way better than Dorsey’s. We ran for 180(?) yards. I think the OL will continue to grow.
