2027 Jarrell Chandler 4* Safety from Knoxville, TN (Halls HS)

We aren’t in Kansas anymore — The days of being a blue blood and getting players just because are dwindling by the hour. Tennessee has been primed to land players like Miles Brownand Jarrell Chandler this spring but others are making it hard. In a day where budgeting your roster gets harder with each passing year, the fact that others have rev share money certainly levels the playing field. Miami is making a late push to get Chandler and Kentucky and Louisville are making a big push for Brown. Both are expected to come off the board in the next week and the bricked recruiting road isn’t necessarily a lock for be orange.

Just give me Glover

I like Chandler…But Proctor and others are close enough to Chandler imo.

Glover and Randle is a home run imo, but one of them to start as the centerpiece is the key.

BTW: As you guys see, with these Vol updates…This NIL is making this a **** show with everywhere. You're never safe…

Yeah but alot of times teams use NIL as a excuse even when the player left for other reasons. They act like they aint paying and every player is offered a full brinx truck.

Sounds like Clemson is the school making a big push
Their safeties were awful last year and Dabo let go of his ‘bama college teammate, Mickey Conn, who handled that position. They had two safeties flip to UGA and OSU as well so it makes sense they are spending big at this position this go around.

Tennessee, FSU (lol) and Clemson are the top 3 for another blue chip safety who is from GA, Ta’Shawn Poole. Clemson tryna revamp their room with Chandler, Poole, + others.

I kinda still feel fine about where we’re at because him wanting to commit so suddenly after we offered then quickly visited us. We’re selling him a role no one else is and that hasn’t hindered his interest at all. Hopefully Mario and Hetherman can bring this one home.

For much of the process, Tennessee Tennessee Tennessee Tennessee

things can change very quickly. Miami Miami Miami Miami has
surged late, Clemson has continued to push as
well. With the decision coming Monday (May
18), things are trending away from Tennessee
as ACC schools are battling for the star out of
Knoxville (Tenn.) Halls

Now, the Hurricanes and the Tigers are
making this one very interesting.
Miami turned up the pressure this week.
Defensive coordinator and linebackers coach
Corey Heatherman Corey Heatherman Corey Heatherman Corey Heatherman has played a major role in
Miami’s late surge. He was in on Thursday to
meet with Chandler. Their plan in the defense
has Chandler’s attention. The Hurricanes
have gone all in.

Clemson has done the same.
The Hurricanes view Chandler, who measures
around 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, as a
linebacker at the next level. Clemson likes
him as a safety, the position he plays in high
school. Could that be a deciding factor?

Sources tell me that Dabo Swinney Dabo Swinney Dabo Swinney Dabo Swinney‘s
program is a bigger contender than most
think. Tom Allen spent a lot of time with
Chandler earlier in the week. They have a
plan, and that has Chandler’s attention.”
