Of what Pierre brings to the table, Glenn said, "His best trait is he's student of the game. He's a long rangy corner that can cover a lot of ground in a short period of time. He has great ball skills, is one of the headiest players we've had at Deerfield in my 10 years. It just comes natural to him."

You describe your corner as heady??

He's a solid player. I think he would get more PT at UNC tho. We need more Haitians on the team...

There's a new 247 article about him in which he says his commitment to UNC is not solid and that he really likes what the Canes have to offer. Apparently he did not take an visits. He also mentioned that he likes some of the recruits and could see himself playing with them.

Need some safeties in this class. I like what Ced and Malek Young bring to the table as nickel type players, but there's not a legit Deon Bush type Safety in this class. I think Henry Miller can be one, and I'd like to have Romeo Finley. James Pierre would be a solid get for sure though.

Props to you GreatCane for not only providing the heads-up on Pierre, but for finding an existing thread on the kid instead of opening another
thread on same topic.

Thanks!
