Pete, I'm a huge fan of yours back to CS days. But I've never seen you more off and out of touch then you are this year. Never in your history. Your sources are garbage. Might need to re-evaluate

Mike Bakas is still available if you’re bothered by Pete being 98-99% right but missing a few. These are 17 year old kids at the end of the day, that being fed everything that they want to hear from coaches...Chill....

You guys follow Pete like a cult. I love Pete - he's the main reason I'm here. He's usually the goods. I've just noticed that he's been wrong a lot more lately. Way more than 1 or 2% like you claim. I'm not saying he's lying to us, I just think his sources have declined lately, especially this year. Pete is a "big boy" and can defend himself, but I'm sure he appreciates the white knights

Agreed. I think Pete's sources are overly optimistic about our chances with recruits in general. I like reading Pete's stuff and I think he's more connected than anyone else on here by far. However, I think you need to discount everything he says about our chances with any particular recruit.

Pete don't work for Miss Cloe's Psychic Network - he just reports what he's told and what is indicated. Even then, he holds a lot of stuff back for reasons of maintaining confidentiality, or because he's not confident of what he's being told.

Well ****. That ended quickly.

Tagfart is a great recruiter, nobody should dispute that. But if you listen to him speak it becomes clear rather quickly that he doesn't have much going on between the ears (and his career sub-.500 record reflects that). FSU will continue to recruit well like they always have, but I believe that his presence will be more of a blessing than a curse for us in the long run.

Willie Vanilli gonna get his kids. Anyone would be foolish to think otherwise. The FSU brand is still somewhat strong, and yeah, he's a cornball, but the kids like him.

It's his coaching that should have FSU fans worried.

His coaching we dont know so much yet cause once he built usf he was gone. Oregon fans loved him and what he did defensively for them and then he left. So everything is 50-50 with him the only thing we know is he suppose to be a beast of a recruiter and that has yet to be seen.

FSU always recruits well. Since the mid-80s I can't remember a year where they didn't have a top 5 recruiting class. It's rare that we out-recruit them (at least according to the recruiting rankings). I doubt very much anything changes under Taggart.

Plus, given FSU's current OLine situation, Goss knows he's got a much better shot at PT next year at FSU than he would at Auburn or Miami. Still think he would flourish better in our program under Searles. Unfortunate that he can't see that.
