Jalen Goss

does this mean NPF ain't visiting?

That was never going to be a thing

I'm ok with that. I was watching him during the Under Armour Game and he was getting killed off the edge by that Bama commit. I mean he literally looked helpless and unable to win a single snap against his man. Dude had like 5-6 pressures and 2-3 sacks

That Alabama commit is a Top 10 Draft pick. He'd make anyone look foolish.

We'll hear NPF's name again.

That kid is so **** good

I didn’t under why pride didn’t kick in for the young fella. At some point he should have just started holding #9 , but I’m guessing he couldn’t get his hands on him.

This is undoubtedly the guy they want as the last offensive lineman in the class.

Will be a tough battle with Auburn

YES PLEASE!! Dude has future 1st round potential.

FSU just offered and they have had success in the past in the area and it’s closer to Goss family than Miami is location wise. They might be an unwanted factor down the stretch along with auburn so I hope the staff isn’t banking on him coming

There is a lot of talk that he comes from a small town...I am from Valdosta and it is a decent to nice size town with two major high schools and a strong d2 college. It’s not south beach but he comes from a big time Georgia program and will fit fine in the big time lights of south Florida. I like our chances if we get him on campus. Seeing him in person he is a nice fit at the U!

Get McDermott to take him fishing in the Glades. Miami doesn't need to be bright lights big city at all.

THis is going to be interesting. With these small town kids, it’s either “woah this is awesome and I don’t ever want to leave” or “this ain’t for me.” Sometimes, small town kids are only small town because that’s where they were born.

I’ll have my family’s boat out...just tell the coaches to swing him on by.

Any city in South Georgia will pale in comparison to South Florida. Huge SEC mentality down here. If it means anything, his high school Lowndes is a perennial state powerhouse in Georgia’s highest qualification.

I been to Valdosta "pronounce as Valdusta" recently, as well as close by Waycross.

Gawd almighty, if this kid don't fall on his knees and commit on the spot when he hits Coral Gables he must be blind.

Yep, pretty much. Lowndes historically is a powerhouse program in Georgia and they have very good competition

Born and raised in Valdosta now living south of Metro Atlanta. The correct pronunciation is Valdosta. It is named after Troup's plantation, (occasionally the Val d'Osta spelling was used for the plantation). Troup had named it after the Valle d'Aosta in Italy. Hence the name Troup Street in the city.

The pretty SoFlo girls will definitely be a draw.

We got Allen Bailey to come here from rural South GA.

If you can get a kid from Sapelo Island, you can get one from Valdosta
