Reminds me of Jamie Boone S, CB and yes QB back in the late 70’s alumni Cane and played NFL Cleveland a stud hitter very physical this kid is a ball player same mold.

Ok, ok, ok. After I stopped laughing, I went and seriously took a look at this highlight video. This Pope kid is actually a pretty good football player. He’s a P5 kid. Not afraid of contact, got good hands and nice feet. Somebody is going to get a nice football player. Thinking he’s a depth and special teams guy, early on.

Kid committed to ASU. Doesn’t mean we didn’t want him but that felt like he was a 1c type
option. I hope our staff keeps in contact just in case.
