He has all those offers, but can he actually commit to them? I'd guess no.

His dad played at Clemson so I'm assuming he wants that offer. Every other team in the country thought he was good enough for an offer except his father's alma mater?

He’s the exact kid that will end up at Clem and play well. May never see the NFL, but good college player. They have a streak of Safeties that fit his “Bill”, so I’m just he wants that offer.

Lol, ya’ll are a trip. That kid looks good to me and he is producing on both sides. He shows some serious juice too. Surprised I haven’t seen any idiot compare him to Harrison Smith yet because that’s the only white Safety that most can think of. Even if we needed him, which we don’t due to our safety depth, we probably wouldn’t have much of a shot anyway. There are a few in state guys I like more but I’d have zero problems with this take.

Has it ever been settled as to what player they were evaluating? This has been much debated, but does anyone actually know?

Pope is a P5 player, but I expect T-Rob to have five safeties with mutual interest and better tape than him at this point. If he is a top target, Coach Simpson will keep us in the game. Pope would struggle to get playing time at Miami IMO. Could see him succeeding at Clemson in his fourth and fifth years....I do not see a talent that matches his offer list and I'd bet neither does Clemson.

Production and lineage are good but I do not like his change of direction.
