Kaaya and Heaps Williams and Olsen...

we have talent guys...

go back a few years with Highsmith and Whipple as back ups..******* kids on here on times..

Love em all..let em compete they are ALL canes

I love following the practices but I like watching the scrimmages with pads on better. Let's you know who really has that feel in a game like situation.

If he commands the huddle the way he did that interview, then we should be in good shape! And leave it to Susan to focus on the negative side of his arrival!

That is a reality check right there, ouch, painful memory.

We are probably not going to crack the top 4 of the Coastal. But great to see there is competition for who can be a QB worse than awful Morris.

I love YouTube's closed captioning

Anybody who criticized taking this dude is dumb as dog****. Olsen had probably already tested positive, and Williams had just torn an ACl. That left Kaaya with Gray Crow and Rozier. That's it.

It's amazing Al was able to bag a guy with. If time experience. He may not be the answer, but you don't find those on the waiver wire. Qb was dire straights, at least for the beginning of the season, but out early schedule is crazy. At this point just having a guy with a ton of career starts who won't be scared by the lights is really fortunate. Footballwise I think he'll be fine. He seems humble and if he just keeps it clean and simple, everybodys gonna look really good.

**** it feels good that we have some guys competing at QB again. I hope a few of these cats can really step up and become major players. Would be nice to see Heaps/Williams/Kaaya/Olsen all really make headway this year and one or two step up and become major gun slingers.

like Kirby and kyle?

^^why is everybody so negative? we were 9-4 last year. returned every major play maker. depth on both sides of the ball at every position. have 2-3 lock all americans barring health issues. who do you realistically see us losing to other then fsu? l'ville lost 3 first rounders & most importantly their head coach. Nebraska stinks even their own fans are saying it. better days are here without a doubt here. i think D-line play & pressuring the QB will make this secondary DAZZLE this year. GO CANES!

This.....Our secondary is ELITE and everybody forgets about Corn (He needs the ball IMO) but we haven't seen them shine cuz of poor front seven play. Insert Whyche, Hertelou, Thomas, Moten, Jenkins, Jackson a much stronger AQM and McCord, Grace, Kirby, Owens, Young, Tucker, an improved Armbrister and of course Perryman....This is a completely different defense.

I mean maybe I'm a glutton for punishment or what have you, but I really feel like the Canes turn the tables this year. I mean a lot of the negativity is gone and we just keep adding playmakers i.e Trayone who I wasn't counting on. Finally I just like the direction of this team even with the loss of figs and blue but again that's just me sitting here in early August with my orange and green shades on

Got to love Heaps texting Coley to catch balls, before he got on his flight to Miami. The young man is hungry with this being his last shot, I just hope he doesn't push to hard and try to win games by himself. As someone posted he threw 2 pics in practice while Kaaya threw for a 40yd td.
