I'd still take Jay Allen.

Consider...

1. Helps our recruiting class ranking (Gaytor Logicz).
2. Opens up a spot on the Heisman podium for a non-Gaytor.
3. Even if he goes to MLB, he would not count as an IC, as he would be academically qualified.
4. If he comes, it allows the baseball team to use more fractional scholarship money on other players.
5. We could count him as a Flip.

Sure, he could go to MLB, but I see no downside here.

But if he goes in the MLB draft, it will occur before he enrolls. Assuming he is an academic QUALIFIER, we would not lose an IC, we could roll the slot into the next year.
