Rumor Jake Garcia to Nebraska

Mario said today he does not think any more players are entering portal. This was at end of recruiting presser

If he goes opens up a spot not even mad cause TVD will be here for two more seasons. Give Mario that scholy to sign a monster.

I hate to talk about it now because it seems like it’s a pile on but I was always higher on tvd than Garcia as a prospect, but maybe that’s because he came into the class late. I wouldn’t hope he leaves though because Mario’s QB recruiting is a bit of a question mark and we don’t have an OC yet.
 
Not the smartest move with Frost having one foot out the door. Maybe he should look at their recruiting class and all of the players who have left since Scottie arrived.

Jake Garcia loves it here and will only leave if TVD doesn't have the type of year we all expect him to have and thus comes back for a 4th year

Not exactly a great year for a QB with basically zero college film to be entering the Portal and expecting anything close to immediately playing time at a remotely decent place. If he's smart he stays one more year here.

Aye I’m not saying you didn’t say it …. All I’m saying is Garcia came in here and was doing his thang…. Let’s not act like TVD just out right beat Garcia out for the job. They was going at it. Until Jake got hurt. From what we seen so far Jake and TVD was pretty much even. I hope we keep Jake cause if he can at least copy what TVD does we can have 2 QBs that go 1st round back to back. If you remember something similar happen to Clemson they had Boyd then Watson then Trevor. That’s when they went on that run. We can possibly do the same thing maybe even better so I’m not trynna lose Garcia .

There is a pretty darn good quarterback we just signed. That kid is not going to roll over.
