The rumor out here in Austin is that French, Moore, and Lockett have all already decided to go to Texas and that they are waiting for a “Big 3” announcement.

If Vernell brown goes to either FSU or UF like on3 reported, I wonder where that would put OSU on their WR targets since that would mean they miss out on all their top targets. Do they pivot to Dallas Wilson and Cortez Mills and make it that much harder on us?

Right.

I've had this discussion before, most recently when Jeremiah Smith decided to join an Ohio State roster that was loaded with wide receiver talent. I've also referred to the time when USC was carrying nine or ten 4 and 5 star running backs. Everyone thinks that they are going to be the starter. Everyone is the alpha. Until they're not.

Like A&M with its giant haul of defensive linemen two years ago.

Here's what "The Big 3" have to look forward to at Texas. It's not like the wide receiver room is sparsely populated or filled with people who are three or four years in. They have ten 4/5 star players in that room. Only three are draft eligible after this season.

They may want to play with Arch Manning. At the moment, who are the Canes selling at QB for 2025? A lot can change if the right QB transfer emerges at UM.

True, but unless these are seven star players they’re unlikely to see the field in 2025, which could be Arch Manning’s only year as a starter at Texas.

Uphill both ways in the midst of a blizzard in this recruitment, but Mario remains very comfortable with high risk recruiting.

From ON3 preview of the visit:

Accompanying Ffrench on the visit will be his mother, grandmother, brother and stepfather, who he believes will play a major role in his eventual decision.

“It’s big-time, and that’s why I have a lot of them coming,” Ffrench explained. “I just want them to get the feel that I had when I went there by myself.”

With a commitment date set for Aug. 30, his mother’s birthday, Ffrench says the final decision will come down to where he and his family feel most comfortable.

“Really, just that family-oriented vibe,” he said. “Whoever gives it the most to my family, me, and every perspective. Really where I feel the most comfortable.”
