Jahmar Brown- "The University of Miami has one of the best football teams in the country."

When we were great our outside backers were light and very fast. Heck, remember Ray in the middle? Skinniest thing I’ve ever seen. If they hit with the speed then it is fine. You can’t Gand tackle if everyone takes 30seconds Tom lumber over to where the ball is.
Exactly! Jonathan Vilma wasn’t that big either. As a sophomore starter at middle linebacker he measured in at 6’0 211lbs!

Rohan was 200 pounds...... maybe, and that’s with his gear on.

Pound for pound the most violent cane ive seen.

As I mentioned earlier , you can have a few under size lb’s on the roster. Cfb is mostly spread offenses running tempo. There’s not too many power/ physical offenses.

Weight is overrated, especially at olb.

“I’ll get the mind and you get the body,” Rohan and Ray with the pregame rituals. Good times!

The imbeciles and their imbecilic weight obsession never slow down.

All the best LBs in the history of this program were lighter than Brown and Solomon as HS juniors. Yet we continue to hear the sad putrid droning and hand-wringing about weight. Probably the same guys who thought Rousseau would be 180 pounds for the next 20 years.

Rohan is in my top 5 canes ever, dude was so intense.

I remember his interview before the ND game in I think 89,dude was saying this game was life or death. He was so emotional that I thought he was going to tear up.

He might be the most intense / emotional cane ever.

Rohan wasn’t there in 89 he came in 91-94

You’re right , the years run together when you been a fan 30 + years. I’m 39 now and it’ll feel like somebody played 5-6 years ago and it was the early 2000’s.

Now that I think about it it was maybe fsu. We’d already lost a game early in the year ( which was shocking back then ) and he was so emotional about not losing again. I just remember he was talking like it was life or death. I got goose bumps listening to it, there was no way we were losing that game. Plus it was a night game in the OB.

Yup. Both Vilma and Ray showed up on campus barely over 200 lbs.

Solomon is not going to be an inside linebacker at Miami
Probably not, he’s too great at coverage and will be used accordingly. I’m saying he can fill the position if no other ILB are signed and we only take these 3. He’s just about J. Vilma’s size when he came in so who are you to say what or where he plays. That’s up to Manny

No disrespect do you have more intel about this situation? Is Pierre going to be in this class cause he seems to be flirting with UFag a lot
I am not going to pretend I have the sources that Gio and Stefan have. I talk to St. Thomas kids that's about it. Ask them.

I'm so confused by our LB recruiting board. Seems like we would take 7 guys...

1. Samuel Brooks COMMIT (OLB)
2. Anthony Solomon COMMIT (OLB)
3. Jesiah Pierre COMMIT (ILB)
4. Avery Huff (OLB)
5. Keontra Smith (Striker)
6. Jahmar Brown (OLB/Striker)
7. Rian Davis (OLB/ILB)

Others Being Recruiter Too -
- Ge'Mon Eaford
- Darius Williams

I think Huff plays inside. I think Keontra is a true safety. Jahmar could be a striker, but I think he will end up in a Pinkney role.
