I think this kid is going to the one school that's desperate enough to give him what his NIL value would be if he was still on the class of '26.. But reclassifying to '25 probably drops his value a little bit.

Think about that. How much do the other 84 players get? How much is USC now willing to spend per year? $35M $50M?
I was stoned to death on CIS when I said that we need to make these elite HS players multimillionaires now look at us now what a **** in my hand

2 mil per! Not just 2 mil...
***** insane
Now, just imagine if he or another player could petition the courts to strike down the four years of eligibility rule.

So let's say it's struck down. How much would the University of Texas offer Arch Manning to avoid going to the NFL and just stay at Texas for the next 14 years?

I think that development might take a backseat in year 1 for some of the premier recruits

Year 1: Overhyped Recruit A signs strictly for the most money possible. Development and even playing time in the first year are irrelevant. It's about maximizing that first contract
Year 2: If he performs to hype, he asks for more money. If not, he enters the transfer portal

or...

Since he signed only for money and he got his payday, he might seek a more moderate deal with a team that actually could develop him for the NFL

It will be really interesting to see what percentage of the Top 100 enters the transfer portal in a year
