Why do you guys want UGA to keep elite talent?

Yall wonder why I always call yall a bunch of UGA lovers? Because when a 5-star LB from Georgia is going to flip from UGA to another school, your immediate reaction is disbelief & dismay. That's the reaction only UGA fans are supposed to have.

I'm in favor of him leaving to see the field faster somewhere else, I'm saying he should have went to another school that's known for strong defense tho

A Defense is only as strong as its personnel.

Every school could/would be known for strong Defense if they had over 40+ 5-star athletes to place on that side of that ball.

Because USC DEFENSE IS BOOTY CHEEKS!! that's why! Riley does not care about defense at all smh. This kid could go any school, why choose a school where they will just try and outscore everyone and not put together elite defenses? USC ain't gonna win games playing like that. He won't have elite defensive talent around him there.

exactly he won't get developed there he's better off playing linebacker in a manny diaz defense

This is what kills me with CFB fans...we always operate under the the impression that "what has been, will always be" as if no one can seek to improve upon a weakness in their program. So USC's defense was horrid last year; Miami has been largely irrelevant to 20+ years and has never won the ACC; Iowa's offense has been offensive for a few years now; Mario didn't take a knee. What does that mean for this year....NOTHING!

If you get the right personnel; marry it to a solid scheme; and mix in a certain degree of luck, then maybe, perhaps, conceivably they could improve. But not with CFB fans, no! It's like UGA has always had 40+ 5 stars on defense. Let's not pretend that they weren't a laughing stock 10-15 years ago.

With moving to the B10, Riley is going to have to change the way he recruits and plays defense. Recruiting elite LBs is a step in the right direction.
 
Lincoln Riley hired D'Anton Lynn as DC. Anyone thinking he's not serious about defense isn't paying attention. In one year he took UCLA's defense from 72nd to 8th in the nation.
