Jadon Haselwood decommits from Georgia

Looks like Haselwood isn’t signing early, when he announces his decision at the game then he will sign. I previously Thought he would sign in December and not let anyone know. But the more I think About it, reporters who have sources on different staffs could easily have fished for that info of who did or didnt sign at a particular school.
Uga had an in home visit yesterday , dugans is seeing him today. FSU is also visiting him today too

Just read that Mansell piece. Would like to know WHO visited him. It just says staff. did Kirby save his visit? That is important, imo.

Don't like the not signing early thing. That is definitely different than previously stated - even a few of Mansell's posters questioned him. So basically he can announce whatever on Jan 5 and still has two days or so to enroll wherever and change his mind. Unless he signs financial aid paperwork.

I find it interesting that he still says you can't be sure he will show for the visit until he actually gets there.

Here's the Mansell write up:

Did confirm that UGA staff was in-home with Jadon Haselwood on Thursday night. He has said he will official visit Georgia on the last weekend. He will not sign with anyone on the early NSD in Mid-December. He will make his college decision on Saturday January 5th at the All-American bowl. With the state championship games being moved and CG likely playing in them, I want to see if he uses his last official for another trip (On December 8th weekend) or he goes to Athens on the last weekend. He could still come to UGA unofficially , just have to see week to week where he ends up.

I'm not 100% positive on this, so if I'm wrong let me know, but I believe you're only allowed to officially sign and fax a LOI between December 19th - December 21st. Once the 21st ends, you have to wait until the traditional NSD in February to officially sign.

Now, Haselwood could make his decision on January 5th and enroll somewhere for the spring semester, which would officially lock him into wherever he's going, but he can't sign a LOI that day. I don't remember seeing if it's confirmed he will be an EE. If he won't then wherever he commits to at the AA game will still have to hold onto him for a month until NSD in February.

Correct. After the 21st of December he cant just sign whenever until the traditional NSD. Unless that has changed I believe thats how it is.

Nope, remember he’s enrolling early, it will be like it was in the 2017 class where it was only 1 signing day and kids enroll early at whatever school they choose

You never know what teenagers will do, but the ironic thing is that Haselwood is following the Jeudy/Campbell playbook to a tee.

FWIW, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of confidence from the UGA side.
Felt this was worth the bump because these are my exact sentiments after reading Rusty's post.

I'm pretty sure The early signing period is only a 1 day window or you have to wait until Feb. to put pen to paper. He can't just sign after his announcement at the All-star game.
