Jacory Harris Sighting

still not sure what changed him from play to play from strong minded patient pocket qb to throw a duck into triple coverage jacory.

I've said (wrote) it 1,000 times...he lost me when he hopped off the bus in Columbus in a sweatervest and khakis and tossed 3 picks.

Wish him nothing but the best. The dud e took a lot of **** from us fans, and always kept his head high. Good luck bro.

it is **** **** **** tough to be a miami QB if you arent producing. may be the toughest place in the country.

killed Kyle Wrights confidence, glad it didnt kill Jacorys.

+1

That's why I respect the kid... He was tough... Played through injuries in 09 and had a terrible 2010... The media and fans killed him but he bounced back in 2011... Although we only won 7 games he kept us in all our losses except BC... His performance against VT, KSU, UVA and UNC was incredible... He made every throw asked of him... He made some perfect passes... He'll be alright...

vs KSU he missed a wide open receiver that would have been the game winner. He was aight let;s not go overboard.

If the guy runs for another 2 feet on the last play, you wouldn't complain about a thing. Of course he was "aight", all we're saying is that we wish him the best going forward.

Wasn't he being mentioned for heisman early in his junior year before everything fell apart or am I imagining things?

Either way kid was all heart and never gave up. I agree with D$, if golden and Jedd had arrived a year or two earlier jacory would have been a good qb.

Going overboard? He put us up with like less than 2 minutes and our defense allowed KSU to drive for a score... He threw pass that hit Walford in the hands than chest and he dropped it in the end zone... Yea it was low but the only player who could have made that catch was Walford... Like him or not he balled in the 2nd half... He had a good game quit with that foolishness man... You did the same on the other site...

Fisch knew how to use him... I think his injuries which lingered from the 2nd half of his sophomore year where he missed all of camp (spring to early fall) and didn't play til fall, led to his failures his junior year... I didn't like the max pro concept and timing routes of Whipple... In that offense the qb already predetermined who the play is going to... After the OSU game his confidence was shot... He showed signs of revival against UNC when Whipple modified the philosophy but then he was injured against UVA... The junior year was by far his worst year and the team as a whole took a step back....

I personally believe if he redshirted along with a few other players he would have been better mentally and physically...

Yeah, after that FSU victory, Jacory had another excellent game as the Canes whooped Top 10 Georgia Tech. He was getting big time hype until the rain game at Virginia Tech.

It looks like that he has stayed on the Eskimos team after the first cut.

Go Alouettes Go!

Thanx for the update, djh.

Is it just me or is there a ton of comedy in the sheer irony that the most Ethopian looking player in our program's history is about to make a team called the Eskimos?? :)

I was expecting to see this picture when I opened the "Jacory Harris sighting" thread:

I have nothing but love for Jacory Harris.

Those teams never amounted to anything, but he gets a lot of the blame when there was plenty to go around.

His chance in making it to the team is getting a boost as the backup QB is out of the season with a torn ACL.

It was 4 picks that game but they were all Travis Benjamin's fault.

Cost us that game IMO. But still wish the kid the best, hopefully he gets his head on straight and makes some of that Canadian funny money.

4? ugh...I supressed one of them in my memory somewhere. :( J12 was the one that got off the bus looking like Tress. Slap in the osu face. He didn't back it up on the field. 4 int's is 4 int's...no matter how you slice it. Sure Benjamin coulda come back on the ball harder...but 4 int's is 4 int's after you changed out of a sweatervest and khaki's in freaking columbus, OH.

Jacory Harris made it to the Eskimos practice squad. I think it is a good way for him to learn and hone his skills.

He's gonna be practicing and honing for a long time, because nothing short of anabolic steroids are going to fix his lack of arm strength.
