Jacoby Briscoe will transfer

A lot of us are salty he went to Florida when it seemed like he wouldn't get a shot to play. At the same time we'd commend a kid for not being scared of competition if he picked the U with a top rating QB coming along with him. I'm sure that ****** coach of his had a lot to do with it too

Balls so hard.

Good luck to the kid, he needs to figure out football is going to earn him more than playing xbox 360 will.

Golden's first big miss?

Only if he denied someone else that spot in the class, otherwise I'd say no.

You know I was thinking that Briscoe committed a lot earlier, like Earl Moore. I guess that was the point I was getting at is early eval, early target/priority, non-factor etc. but I guess it's not really like that.

think he was a late bing in around november...after he tore it up in the louisiana playoffs. Effort was listed as a problem then...i guess it reared its ugly head again..it doesnt help that alot of kids get homesick first year and dont know how to wor through that..they switch positions n him which might have been the nail in the coffin

A miss indicates we took him instead of someone else.

Who did we miss on at DT in that class who wanted to come?

Funny, Of the three (Ivory, Brisco, and King) I liked Brisco's chances the best. This was a late add where the staff was told to add some wide bodies so expectations weren't too high. This seems to be the pattern with this staff. Take chances on kids hoping you score more then you lose but move them out if things don't work out. Not to be negative but Tucker fits the profile. He may work out or he may not but in the scheme of things you have little to lose and a lot to gain by taking him.

Heard Golden at a recent function and he said that not a single kid has left that they didnt want to leave since they got there.

Yea golden ain't batting 1000. IMO part of the process you see they don't cut it you push to transfer.
