i don’t post on here much because of people like that lol247’s Cribby, basically. He has an account here too but I think I’ve only seen him post like once lol
Actually looks like he posted here yesterday saying this would be over within 48 hours.
He is legit just like some posters on this board. He has been spot on concerning recruiting and the team.Who tf is Adam lmao
The only time his name and Miami worries me is with draft eligible talent. If they think Rosenhaus is a plus for UGA over Miami they are high as kites
What’s that mean?247’s Cribby, basically. He has an account here too but I think I’ve only seen him post like once lol

Which in my Detective mind says a lot. Just my intuition it’s because the Current negotiations aren’t with UGA but Miami?!Jesus. There’s literally nothing of substance in there.

From the UGA 247 board:
There was some (sorta) news yesterday with 5-star OT Jackson Cantwell, and here's what I've been able to gather re: his recruitment over the last 24 hours.
Not giving a prediction at this time, but think Georgia is very much in the mix.
- The Nixa (Mo.) OL put out a semi-cryptic post on social media Thursday suggesting he might be ready to make a decision sooner than expected. There has been mixed feedback on how soon that might be, some taking an any-moment approach. One person very close to this situation shared with me that they could "see it happening before the OVs," which isn't as urgent of a description as I would've expected given the way the news permeated on Thursday. This is something we are now taking a daily look into, but the imminence of a commitment is unknown at this time.
- Three programs keep coming up in my conversations: Georgia, Oregon and Miami. Depending on who you ask, different sides view different programs as the main competition. Truth be told, I believe there is still some negotiation and dialogue that needs to happen between his representatives and all the programs involved. Let's be real about this: Cantwell is almost universally considered OT1. That's a very lucrative recruiting profile and leverage point to hold. All three of the aforementioned programs are willing to play ball with Cantwell, but to what extent? The timing of this is all fascinating as schools shift into the rev-share cap world where, theoretically, there's a de facto cap preventing you from overpaying for an incoming freshman OL whose first-year playing time is up for debate in all three scenarios.
- My intel is that Georgia hasn't been given a final answer one way or another, which leads me to believe this is ongoing. I cannot speak for any other programs being given firm answers one way or the other, but my (probably shouldn't say this) assumption is that nobody has been given a decisive answer. That said, Cantwell is represented by Drew Rosenhaus. Rosenhaus has represented many-a-former Georgia player, so there is a strong relationship in place between Kirby Smart, Georgia + Rosenhaus & Co. I would expect the Georgia side to be informed, either way, prior to a public announcement. Oh Really???? LOL
- I've been told Georgia really values Cantwell, and that much has been evident throughout his process. There's a belief that his parents, who have ties to Athens, consider Georgia a preferred choice. Georgia has always felt it was in a top two in Cantwell's mind, but with which other school has always changed. Still, you have to be realistic about the depth chart and the expectations. Cantwell is as mean and physical of an offensive tackle in the class. He's also playing smaller-ball Missouri high school football and isn't going to blow you away with the length measureables at the Combine that so many GMs fall in love with nowadays (strength testing is an entirely different story). Teams have to be much more careful and selective with their cap for incoming freshmen, and this will be a fascinating case study in how Georgia and its recruiting rivals operate.

100% one thing I learned through Golden, Richt, and Diaz. If this is the report given, he gone. Can tell he’s seasoned as a writer by not hedging like the Oregon guy did.Which in my Detective mind says a lot. Just my intuition it’s because the Current negotiations aren’t with UGA but Miami?!
It’s not a lie tho. And D$ has alluded to the sameThere is your future "we werent interested piece of info/we werent going to pay what Miami paid" if we do land him
This is a case where you pay attention to what was not said. Those pompous asses over there would 100% say if they felt they led or if they were in a good position. The fact that they talked about all of the ancillary things tells me they've waved the white flag in a way only UGA could.Jesus. There’s literally nothing of substance in there.
Saw Ivins do it and now Gaby do it. All the reasons there’s still hope, means there’s no real hope left. Saw it with Pickens last year. Family ties, close to home, etc. The writing was on the wall. This is a case where you pay attention to what was not said. Yeah, this place is way better than 247 but I respect what Gaby, Lake, and Chris do so I have no problem paying for a sub there. But the actual board… nah.People like what? The guy who doesn't know who you are?
Relax, my brother, this is a much more welcoming environment than any other Miami site, and I've posted on them all.
Once you have more than 14 posts, people will start to figure it all out. Enjoy the board, and Go Canes!
