2026 Jackson Cantwell 5* OT from Nixa, MO

“I have all the information I need,” Cantwell said. “Don’t know how an OV would change that really.”

Cantwell says he’s still giving all six programs his attention.

“Hasn’t been narrowed down any more and most likely no more trips before OVs,” Cantwell said. “I think this is something that’ll be figured out with me and my family and we already have all our info we need.”

Georgia has always been one of the front-runners for Cantwell and Kirby Smart, Stacy Searels and the Bulldogs are in great position to land Cantwell.

So is Dan Lanning and Oregon. He’s had great dialogue with that staff and loves the opportunity in Eugene.

A visit to Miami in the fall and the return this spring along with all the conversation with Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes has turned The U into a front runner.

Those look like the top three but Cantwell has spoken highly of the Buckeyes, Wolverines and local Tigers throughout his process as well.

Cantwell played in the Under Armour All-American Game in January.

This is a glass half-full take, but I'm getting Mauigoa/Okunlola vibes with Cantwell and Pepe in terms of their recruitment. These guys know where they can be developed. Landing two five-star OL in the same class is no easy feat, but Cristobal and Mirabal have done it before. And the tears from the dip**** Oregon writer would be the cherry on top.

Mario/Alex vs Searles is a route.

Missouri would have to drop the bag of all bags here, no? Gotta think we have a lot to offer beyond the bag, which I’m sure will be among the biggest?
Yes, but for them, their class is an absolute success if they get the local 5 star and 20 2-3 star recruits. They can pay him that bag and not have to worry about paying anyone else. I’m afraid the optics will play out.

That loser is back at UGA? I'm calling it now that he doesn't pick them based on that alone. No wonder UGA OL has looked increasingly worse the past couple of years.

lol, happens every time. Miami snatches a player - BlAnK cHeCk.

Oregon or Georgia nab a player - tough fought recruiting victory.

This guy is way off if he thinks it's an OU/UGA battle.

Oh, it's a 2-way battle involving Oregon, alright...

Two factors lean Oregon here. Track aspect and Nike. His dad was a Nike athlete for **** near a decade. This was always gonna be a tough pull for Miami. We’ll see how it turns out.

May seem silly to some, but I really do think Addidas hurts us more than it helps us. Small factor here but something that I hope changes at some point. Nike is a superior brand and something I know I thought about during my own recruitment.

This one doesn’t make sense to me. From what I can find online he hasn’t visited Oregon this year. He’s been to Michigan and Miami the most. If he doesn’t commit today this is a money grab 100 percent to get everyone to pony up. We’ll see how it plays out I think Miami is the pick. He’ll get paid and developed the most here.
