I'm sure this isn't popular opinion here but I can see him being a better Milroe here. Kid has a crazy strong arm and will have one of the better OL in the country. Give him 2 reads and if it's not there take off.

Interesting. Have to assume he discussed with coaches before making this decision—could be a stretch to assume but does that mean the word he got is that our realistic portal options are 1-year guys (eg, Salter not an option)?

I don’t think anyone has said JB in 24 is a good idea. But given where we are numbers wise, not sure how anyone could see this as anything but a net positive.

I do not see him as the qb of the future but I am very happy to have him return. This allows us to only take one qb in the portal this year and have our numbers better lined up in the room

Can you please explain? I'm a little dense. You believe he's incapable of progressing in the spring and taking the next step or you just think his skillset and measurables are inadequate?

He just seems like a legit great young man. Always good to have in the program.. especially with his athletic skills & natural leadership abilities.
