Fitting that a law school set the precedent of playing till you’re 27

He’s still got 8 good years in him sign him up

I dont think he would have even been eligible to play next year if he didn't reclassify. Pretty sure there is an FHSAA age limit where if you turn 19 before the school year starts you cant compete.

it wasnt money
not what I was told , thats why he had the hold off and was struggling. OSU had time to counter and they did. Thats how it played out, thats the only thing that makes sense. We offer we are favored (means our offer was better) he struggles with the choice cause OSU feels its UM....they counter and they get him. And i dont want to hear OSU had a QB they had a XFL QB from the portal. Both teams had *** QBs at the time

How much do you feel we should pay for a kid who won't see the field as anything but a return man for more than likely two years? Before you respond I'll simply say the juice isn't really worth that kind of squeeze. If we didn't just completely flip the db room then yes. Snatch him up. But we did. So that's that.
Flowers can compete for nickel year 2. Hèll Brantley gets hurt a lot so he might could see the field this year

All this talk about almost being 20 years old is giving Josh Jobe vibes.

I thought Flowers was only 18? The guy who reclassed due to age was Toney, who is a year older than Blount... IMO, this is primarily about money and playing time. There are other schools much more desperate at DB than we are and willing to pay him and start him right away. Kid is a FUTURE star. But he'll be paid less coming to Miami and will sit behind other guys we've just brought in with proven experience and more development.
