Why not? I'm no insider but some of you guys act like it's some "big decision" or hardship to throw some cash (or a car, or a job, or a....) at these kids. Schools like Bama have boosters lining up to invest in the program. They look at it as just the cost of doing business imo. I'd be more shocked if any of their recruits aren't getting something.
Bingo

Because it leaves a trail and an obvious question mark when a kid enrolls. A kid’s parents have to claim income in financial aid paperwork/any kind of loan paperwork and when a school goes under investigation or even the NCAA asks to see records they ask to see these documents. It’s going to stand out that a kid like Bogle, who I heard doesn’t come from money to begin with, all of the sudden came up with the money to pay for a semester or 2 worth of school. It creates an obvious red flag and starts a trail to investigate.

I'm laughing at the idea that anyone thinks Bogle, who lives at the poverty line, is paying his own tuition to gray/blueshirt at Bama. Kid doesnt even pay tuition at Gibbons

Bama's REC boosters have almost unlimited funds. If Bogle chooses them, his mom will be well compensated and he'll get a new car, just like every other Bama recruit.

Yes, Bama coming under investigation. That's a good one.

As long as a SEC guy like Emmert runs the NCAA, Bama can do whatever it wants

Are you dumb? Why would somebody pay his tuition and leave a money trail? You guys know that his parent/guardian/parents have to claim income on any kind of financial aid/loan paperwork right? It leaves an obvious red flag and a trail to follow.

And there will be a day when he’s not there anymore or somebody messes up and forces their hand. There’s already discontent with Emmert to begin with.

Talk to my boy from Auburn....there is no trail they make sure of it. If he's grey shirted he will apply for financial aide, when it's time to pay back the loan the money will have already been there
