Agree. I'm very curious how he handles it because up until now, he's had this recruiting reputation of not being very visible/active. Very curious myself.

Yeah. It's not that!

Manny will prove to be a very good recruiter. He has very strong communication skills (he wanted to be a broadcaster before getting into coaching), understands how to market Miami properly, is a high energy guy and has charisma. If he had "support" in recruiting, he would absolutely kill it on the recruiting trail.

Was at Dwyer as well and saw him with Stubblefield. Was told it was Sophomores and dont have specifics on exactly who. Once I go back there I'll try and find out exactly who

I agree.

At some point, I like one on ones with the head man and the player. Time for pictures and the parties to stop and to talk brass tacks. Coffee is for closers.

I've been pounding the table for a while. Miami needs lineman/edge defenders.

Now, they like him at LB, but lets be honest...look at how Miami uses Shaq. He's not a traditional linebacker. He's best in the box and coming downhill and Miami often lines him up to rush the edge or even in the gaps. I'm not saying Boykin is a stud, but I see no reason why you can't project him to do some of those things.
