that's more because bama (georgia very soon) can tell their top targets to take the offer or they'll just go with the next guy. jarez parks had to greyshirt because he decided to **** around instead of giving saban a solid answer.

I think we should look into the JUCO ranks next year and see if we can find some good bodies to come in here and increase the talent level and hopefully find some more dogs who are scratching their way at a shot at the league

Just take bodies with top notch fundamentals coming out high school, irrespective of stars. Searles is atrocious at coaching technique so they aren't going to become better technicians under his "tutelage", but with good S&C they can get bigger and stronger.

a close of simply haslewood, tyrique, bogle, zipperer and summerall (and removing solomon) puts us in the 10-12 range. adding dunmore to that group puts into the 7-10 range. any surprise like neal, lucas etc may give us an outside shot at a top 5 class. the 3 star kids don't matter really as far as rankings go.

by pretty much every measure -- including the blue chip ratio -- this would be essentially an elite class, though i think the concerns about absences at certain positions are obviously legitimate.

The Jalen Mitchell insight is really interesting. He's a solid backup option out of Rockledge HS. Had good stats against strong competition this year and shared the load with Tennison. Has a similar body type to Frank Gore (short/wide) but has room to grow.

This one feels like Jalen and his coaches reached out to the staff with his tape and based on our current recruiting situation, we are tempted to offer. Need to go back and watch his film when I get a chance tonight.

Fine, but if you're trying to create scarcity for your product and thus drive up its value, the product better be for ******* real or you are in no man's land...which is where we are all too often now.
