Shannon was not being courted, at all. Golden was being courted by the taste of the Big Ten for three years, as the NCAA was about to ruin his program. There is the difference. Shannon had 21 wins through three years and the program was this close to being back. Golden has 20 wins(with 4 games remaining) through three years, and ran a clean program and also cleaned up the mess Shannon's staff left behind. There is clear differences. And to take it even further, Butch Davis won 22 games through three seasons. (He went 5-6 in his third season) But Golden sucks, right?

I don't care that people want Golden. ****, people wanted Rich Rod, and Steve Krapthorpe. The bottom line is this is not working. We are a soft, zone playing team, and against elite competition, we will lose.

His third season here, and in our two most important games he gets bent over and has his **** punted clean off his body.

He was outclassed and out-coached against the two best teams on our schedule.

we hardly have any playmakers. we are finally getting guys like coley, tracy howard, jenkins, aqm, tyriq, etc. Our best talent is all freshmen and soph. Next year, i can understand this argument but lets be fair here. What do we have as far as upper classmen?

Everything was fine until you tried to blame this one on Morris. Everyone is getting too comfortable blaming Morris for everything. The kid has no RB (DC is not even close to Duke), he has an OC learning on the job, and he's playing one of the better defenses in college football, yet he still had a good game. Over 300 yds passing, 2 TDs and no ints. This game goes on the fumbles and the defense. If you could be even slightly objective in your opinion, you would not throw the blame at the qb on this one.

I'm just as tired of Morris not living up to the hype as everyone else, but he is receiving unfair criticism for some of these performances. I'm sorry, but Logan Thomas lighting up our defense like Peyton Manning is not Morris's fault.

imho this team has gone downhill because of morris play. the offense cant stay on field. the only scores are big plays so the defense has been run into the ground.
i agree with you on tonight, however, morris stats were inflated by the screen pass and that deep ball to hurns, its not like he was making great throws either.
he isnt the only one. the seniors are just not that good. Coley and Burns are true fresh so they will make mistakes. lets just hope this get back on track
