I agree. It is obvious that we don't have the horses to match up with FSU yet, but the future is very bright. I am concerned with how we finish this season without Duke. With our offense already struggling, i think we could be in trouble without Duke's big play ability.
 
I was at the game last night and player for player the gap isn't as big as it seems.Karlos Williams is next level. I think after halftime we got out coached. Our OL had it going as usual and then we got cute. FSU came back after halftime and ran us in the ground. Our depth only became an issue because Winston killed on 3rd down. I'm with a bunch of FSU fans and they're nervous. I point to time of possession and said if we cant get 3 and outs we'll get blown.Just like big games last year we play solid D first 2 downs and when you cant get the offense off the field on third down it adds 3 minutes to your D.Was really impressed with Stacey Coley because he got behind them multiple times pretty easy and I really hope he stays 4 years.Need more fast twitch players in key spots on D.Gaines,AJ,Green,Chick were no match on their explosive plays.Figs looks the part.Walford is stiff with butter fingers.I think if PD is back by ACC champ game we can play better on a neutral field.

This, we need this massive recruiting class to fill in remaining wholes and hope against hope that 1 of Williams, Olsen or Kaaya can be a serviceable QB.

Unless Williams is extremely better than Brad or Greg, I don't want him in there next year. I want one of the young pups to get baptized by fire. Olsen has been holding the clipboard and yawning all year. Get him out there next year.
 
Fsu is legit top 2 or 3. We hung with them for a half. We're moving in the right direction, we took the NCAA hit. Couple more recruiting classes and a chance for the talent to develop, come together and add depth. UM football is fun to watch again. Maddening at times, but fun.

the FSU exemplified the talent gap between the two team. we are headed in the right direction with the right staff.

That is enough for me, but I guess that standard changes across the board.

In all seriousness, not a shoot at the kids but some of them are awful. For as much as Highsmith is opinionated, if it was my son I would call coach and tell him to pull him.

It's bad, this has to be addressed, our depth at Safety is horse ****!
 
I've been saying this all season. FSU has their chance this year and next year and then we are up.

First, the Shannon guys are here. Not sure what to say. It is what it is.

Second, why are the coordinators a concern? No substance, no comment.

Third, if I was Highsmith I would be embarrassed of my play. It is clear I am the weak link. The reason safety depth is a concern is two injuries. Bush, hernia. Rodgers, slow to get back. Rodgers was capable when he was healthy, he was not great he was just capable of making a play. Nothing can be addressed to fix this mid-season other than sub someone else in and make the best of it.

Yes, he switched his commitment to UM after the FSU game.
