You sure about that? While there was an occasional exception, this board has been pretty overwhelmingly against the defense all year. Maybe there was a time between the USF game and the Cal game where people were unsure, but no has been defending the defense.

I was talking earlier in season, it was clear the defense was broken and when mentioned all answers were offense no team could keep up with offense or score 40+ points. Tried to explain that was unnecessary pressure on offense to play perfect and its not a good standard to have no expectations for defense if they cant even align. This was as late as week of GT game.

Then that game happened, many actually still blame the offense for that loss even tho they carried team all season and should be expected to have one off game in a season.
