Issiah Walker

Even if he does get a waiver.....I don't expect the kid to just come out and start especially with the pandemic going on and our practices/training time being shortened etc. Again, I trust Justice to do what's right here but I hope he is our guy 2021 and moving forward. LT stability would be nice, and hopefully his coachability matches his talent and Justice can turn this guy into what we all hope and envision. I'm excited, got **** we need the season to be played this year.

My understanding is, if Walker gets financial aid before Jan 1, he counts for 2020. Williams will depend on if we get a waiver on Asa Martin and bring him in as a count back.
This seems like a guess. Manny will take more transfers if they feel it's the right type of guy. The fact that he's willing to do that is why I don't believe this is correct.

Can Miami add more transfers if a current player on the team transfers out before the start of the season? I wonder if a undisclosed player has informed the staff of his intention to transfer? This could be a way to bring OL Williams.

No.

Only if we have a counter

Not if he doesn't have initial counters. The only guess is whether he gets a waiver for Asa Martin's transfer out.

Check 10 or so pages back. There's a lengthy discussion on ICs.

Even if Walker gets a waiver hes not going to be physically ready to play with no off-season. Walker isn't physically ready to start at LT and doesnt have the bend around the edge necessary yet. Granted it won't be as bad as Zion but he will still give up 5-7 Sacks on the season and whiff badly on a lot of blocks. I don't think people understand how difficult it is for true freshman to become a starting LT, especially when they are not EE. Walker has huge upside but he will need time to develop.

Y'all are wild if you don't think this kid is immediately eligible.

Everybody getting free passes because of covid.

Even kids with some borderline eligibility issues...say a test
score...going to get a waiver because SAT and ACTs were cancelled.

Agreed. I think they are pretty set on Campbell there for 2020.

I know I give you a lot of **** but it’s all in good fun and at least you have fun with it and are a good sport. I’ll give you props there. What’s the word on the 3 guys who went juco? Hammond, Black, and I forgot the other dude. Are they gonna make it back to Florida?

Diwun Black - he's still a take IF (lord knows i have my doubts) if he has the grades in 2021

Hammond - same as Black

Wardrick Wilson - NOOOO idea of what's goimg on with his "visa" issue.

Zach Evans - no clue on him either. Our luck he'll come to UF and want to be a rugby player smh.

Leonard Manuel - No clue either. Haven't indicated what the **** he's going to do and even if he does come, academically I'm nervous about him.

I'm heavy in the recruiting section on Swamp Gas and I love the Gators, I REALLY do, love Mullen and think he's the right fit, but I can't stress enough to ANYONE that'll listen that if we don't upgrade Hev at the OL coach, English as the Safety coach, and everyone knows Knox sucks as the RB coach (Mullen shouldn't have tried to play him shifting him to TE coach smh). Keep those guys, and we'll just be Georgia under Mark Richt.

I'm Bobbybaker86 but peep how i have to combat the Gator homerism and be as honest as possible in these two threads:

There's enough Gator Tears in here for you all lol

I saw it. Asa doesn't matter. It's a bonus if we got the spot back but it doesn't matter at all. I'm not trying to change anyone's mind or prove my point. In the end if we take more than 1 or 2 more transfers the truth will be revealed. If we don't then the back and forth everyone was doing is nothing but comical material to read from the last few days.

Look he was a silent always wanted to be a cane. The record scared him off but that was before we had the new offensive staff. Covid and his relationship with his grandma made this happen. I’d welcome his talent. He’s not Francois he’s just a young kid he wanted to fix a mistake. I really wish we got that greene kid becaus this 2020 class filled a ton of needs. These kids are great athletes too
