Issiah Walker

For those saying yall dont want him, let that hurt go!! he didnt come the first time becauae of the incompetence of our previous OL coach tbh...he was considered a HUGE miss and people were questioning our staff... now if we get him by default, who cares!! he would be a Cane and not a Gator... Coach Justice is building a good OL and recruitng very well out the gate..remember he said (not a exact quote) "Their is plenty of great OL in so. fla, we just have to get them".... we have 3 of the Top OL in So fla committed, Walker would be #4.... that would be 4 of the 6 best OL in So. fla the last 2 years.. thats impressive excluding Martinez and Dumervil... would be a huge step to rebuilding our OL.... Go Canes!!!!

Best Guess: we land Walker, move Moise to enroll Spring 2021 and pass on Williams.. we have only 1 spot left for 2020
Let that hurt go. My favorite phrase in life. I'd love for him to be in orange and green. I just have this funny feeling Manny is about to put his foot down and not take the kid. I hope I'm wrong.

If Manny dont take him, would be a bad look..reason being he gave JT4 another chance and allowed Cleveland Reed to come back... no reason to not let a kid who never signed with UM transfer in....plus coulda been Butch Barry he didnt want coaching him..

I think the bad look is for different reasons. To me, it’s that out position group sucks and this kid wasn’t an *** during his recruitment.

I’ll pass on him if he has a bad attitude and behavior detrimental to the team. After last season it’s clear we don’t have player leadership right now.

He may well have a legitimate reason to transfer, but my alarms are going off after last years recruitment drama, alleged parents involvement, and leaving a program after a few months that is basically closed due to the pandemic. I’ll wait for accurate information before deciding if he’s a take.

Don’t think those are going to pass

Pandemic waivers gonna be handed out like monopoly money, brother.

Anyone not all in on getting this kid back, yall wild.

Issiah Walker and Willie Moise actually being apart of the 2020 class would be pretty incredible.

Couple it with Jalen Rivers, Chris Washington, Mike McLaughlin, Ryan Rodriguez, Big Baby Seymour???

We about to cook a feast with that.

All of those with an OL coach that is actually competent and I might cry.

Two things I know, Walker like most OL recruits we’ve gone after hated searals. Canesport with Ferman and Shodell just throw 💩 on the wall and hope it sticks. He’s not a take now and I’ll predict tomorrow or soon they will say he’s a take to cover all
Options.

FWIW Walker is now following arguably the 2 best recruiters on staff.... Coach Field and Coach Justice

And then there is Brantley tweeting that “something is cooking” and Arroyo agreeing through Tweets

Searles didn’t recruit him, Butch Barry did.

If we can bring him in like Moise as a academic then convert that to a 2021 scholarship, I’m all for it. I thought his HS highlights were money.

But ... if we can’t pull that hat trick off, I’d rather take the sure bet with the low floor in Williams right now to win in 2020 than the high risk potential home run in the future with Walker. We need a fricking starting OT now.

Only his senior year. Searels was there the other 3.

I get it but why rule out a school because of a coach that is no longer there and is no longer recruiting you. We can’t use the prior relationship as the reason why he didn't like Miami. If anything, Searels leaving should have helped our cause, not hurt it.

I get everything you're saying but in all reality for those same reasons plus others is why I say Manny might put his foot down. I don't know. I'm just voicing an opinion. I hope I'm wrong. I saw a couple rumors floating around that might be mentioned already. I have haven't read this entire thread. If the kid wants to transfer to UM I hope we get him.
