Not if we get someone better which CJ is IMO. I know ya'll fall in love with players like ya'll got real friendships with them cause you listening to interviews and they are well spoken and cool asf, but at the end of the day no ones spot should be safe if you are trying to get better year in and year out. It’s odd as @Cribby says Horton was asking a fair price. He’s a homegrown talent, why wouldn’t you just keep him here instead of needing to roll the dice on someone in the portal ? I mean if we are letting him walk because we have Jeremiah Smiff lined up, then I am on board with this. But otherwise it seems like we are doing a disservice to our own players- especially if he’s not trying to shake us down and is asking for reasonable NIL.
