Not trying to take away from these kids at ALL!!!!!!! But, What’s up with him? 👀 Thrilled for the win and excited for these kids, but did he walk by coach with an attitude?

Maybe I’m tripping. I rewinded it a few times when coach was shaking all the players hands.

Won’t forget I saw this guy after the Clemson game last year (a win) pass right by the HC upset when the HC was celebrating and giving handshake to every player, and ignored him. 👀

I wish him well. Have no issues with him at all. I think he is making a bad decision, but I don't know the money #'s. Please go out and get Fields.
 
It’s odd as @Cribby says Horton was asking a fair price. He’s a homegrown talent, why wouldn’t you just keep him here instead of needing to roll the dice on someone in the portal ? I mean if we are letting him walk because we have Jeremiah Smiff lined up, then I am on board with this. But otherwise it seems like we are doing a disservice to our own players- especially if he’s not trying to shake us down and is asking for reasonable NIL.

There was another issue too but imo the money ask was fair

It doesn't say anything positive about Canes leadership ( Coaching, The Collective, ect; ) to potentially let a phenomenal talent like Horton simply "Walk On By".

Pretty much a similar situation with Van-Dyke. Accept, he had a new OC coming in. It's sad to see others from the outside come in and get royally paid, and those who played their a## off not get similar treatment.
 
Why go shopping for WRs when you can just pay Horton what he deserves. He will ball out wherever he is next year. The growth from last year to this year was pretty surprising. No reason to think he would regress. Physically he certainly earned it

Listen the best play transfer or not, whoever is more talented should pass the less talented. We always have fans complaining about a more talented player sitting the bench, now we have people asking for a less talented player to play over the more talented player? wtf?

Not if we get someone better which CJ is IMO. I know ya'll fall in love with players like ya'll got real friendships with them cause you listening to interviews and they are well spoken and cool asf, but at the end of the day no ones spot should be safe if you are trying to get better year in and year out. You acting like he a first rounder that we asking to replace, he is a replaceable player its that simple. Will he play if he stays? Yes ofc he plays but lets not act like losing him is the end of the world, losing a Cam Ward is the big hit. He was able to ball cause Cam threw dots and threw guys open, now we may have a qb that cant do that so you have to really get open or the scheme has to get you open because not all qbs take those risky throws like Cam did.

You think we get 2 more WRs? Or just go all out for one of Concepcion/Singleton/ and maybe Branch as fall back…

I see Concepcion or Branch going Colorado is we dont get. Singleton still to Auburn even after they get Fields and have good young WRs
