Isaiah Horton needs to be a starter

Brown is not what we expected…. Really a shame JS didn’t stay home because he would be killing it right now and would be the perfect boundary WR.

For every ward, barrow, and baron… the browns, Richards, and Poffs keep it all equal

Brown has straightline speed but hes pretty uncoordinated and he doesn't really have wiggle, not mich you can do with that outside sending him on a few seems/posts each game
 
Brown was a rocketship on those tunnel screens at Houston and was a high point catcher at times.

He looks like complete mid to me. Just a run of the mill WR3 type for any normal ACC team. Not bad. Not great. Just a role player. Will have some big plays, surely (nature of the offense), but lots of nulls and a few bad ones.

He and Horton make a more complete XWR and even out the unit...but Horton deserves the majority snapcount.

The drop by JoJo Trader late is one of those drops that will keep him on the bench for a bit, I am sure. You gotta grab that easy work.

But agree with OP, Horton needs to be that guy moving forward.
 
Love the fact that after Horton scored the TD the other wr wanted to do a celebration in the end zone and horton was like get the **** out of my face and ran over to the sidelines. saying we aint done.

George does have talent, but his bonehead unsportsmanlike penalties is just not acceptable.
I believe he now has 3 in the last 2 games

brown is garbage. Softer than ****. Has made one play all year. Falls immediately. Drops. Bad blocker. That X catch and run goes further if brown catches a block

On that particular deep pass, I don't agree with it being under thrown. Even if it is, he needs to go high point the ball and now wait for it to come down to him.

He was only in to give Horton a breather right? You can't place much blame on a true freshman who has barely seen the field. I saw Jacoby, Riley, mark, Isaiah, Xavier, Damian all dropped passes. I also saw Cam wasn't on yesterday and it hurt us bad. Cam needed to play better for us to win. Not JoJo missing his one target.

Lets not let Horton completely off the hook..that bomb that Ward airmailed to him that he didnt go up and fight for..you gotta get that. He tried to let the ball come to him and as a big body WR...gotta make that catch and help your QB out. The only WR that is without ridicule is Xman..George, Horton and Brown have not been perfect and thats why I think Mario keeps the rotation as it is. But YES, Horton has been **** good overall and has taken that 3rd year jump.

Agreed. I think the call for benching everyone is overrated -- other than telling me Mario will fix the disciplinary issues and then never sitting the players that do dumb ****, lol --- Horton is not sitting on the bench. Neither is Brown. Nor George. The weekly outrage is CISing...

There is no real blame on JoJo -- other than -- like CJ -- when you get your limited reps, you need to excel at them -- not drop the ball, nor run into your blocker -- it is not an attack on them -- it is they only have limited reps coming with their growth right now..

47 posts about Colbie Young not fighting for a ball last week for UGA, Horton drops a huge TD he needs to catch...

Other than X every WR needs a little clean up right now... and X would likely say he does, too
 
On Horton vs Jacolby let’s keep the same energy guys. Horton kicked a guy and almost ruined our comeback making it like 2nd and 20 instead of being on the 5 yard line or something. That was dumb and with the game on the line you need to keep your head

Agreed. The team is undisciplined. Difference with the 2, is this is the 50th time George did it, and Mario celebrated him not being an idiot earlier this year -- which is slip and slide type nonsense really... here is a cookie for not ******* up because you always **** up -- pat's dog on the head...
