Isaiah Horton is not hurt

Not if one offers you a better chance at a winning lottery ticket.

WR1 at Miami has a chance of making life changing money.

WR3 from Bama will be lucky to own a couple car washes after being on a practice squad.
Cant remember the last time we had a stud WR get drafted and Be a force in the NFL ***** depressing

I'm not sure what you mean? Who is the "we"? Because if it's Miami, there is no next man up. It's Beck and then pray Nickel can be the next guy. Or maybe we convert Baby Jesus to QB. If "we" means you're a Bama fan (from the way you talk about DeBoer, maybe you are I don't know), then I discount your fanaticism since they had a RB at QB last season despite having one of the most dynamic receivers in the country.
I actually think Baby jesus could be more of a problem @ QB in College then Nickel if he really commited to it thats how talented the kid is smh

I didn't say WINNING lottery ticket.

I said lottery ticket meaning you have a chance. He's getting 100-200k extra being at Bama as WR3.

I absolutely believe you have a much better chance of making a career in the NFL getting WR1 targets.

Getting WR3 targets puts you in a position to be out of the league in short order.
So you’re saying turn down 100-200k guaranteed for a chance at a lottery ticket?

Yes! YES! I will leave my job today for a lesser role with a 25% salary increase to join a company and ceo who has an recent track record of employees in my new position getting bigger future opportunities than the company I’m currently at!
LOL DeBoer has a two year track record with players that he mostly inherited and a team that was filled with upper classman at Washington.

Just stop man. You sound like a ******* clown gargling DeBoer's nuts.

I don't think you understand taxes nor finances.

Let's say Miami was willing to pay him $400k and Bama was willing to pay $500k.

Alabama has a 5% state income tax on top of the Federal so $500k nets you $322k and then you pay your NIL agent another $25k so let's just round it down to $300k net.

His $400k in FL would net him $278k and then rounding to $250k after agent fees.

He just left the opportunity to be WR1 to go to Bama to be WR3 for $50k.

That is moronic and short sighted in my opinion. 100% of the time I'd rather be a WR1 on the previous years #1 offense than a WR3 on this version of Bama.

I guess he must just be a DeBoer ball sack lover like @DadeBaby

Explain the other guy that I mentioned. Your 5 game starter bolsters my point of why I can’t get mad at the kid. How could I hate?
Gregory Rousseau was the last player who has a story like that here.
And we had the nerve to disrespect Horton gangster.
I thought it was disrespectful to bring in Brown to be the three and I thought he should have tried to extort us, everyone else does.
Brown will be drafted higher this year than Horton will be next year.

So based on your scenario you’re saying he should take 50k less for a chance at the lottery?

And 50k is just chump change right lol

You keep saying short sited as if him staying and being our wr1 would change his future lmao, he would have been lucky to get drafted either way. Rambo left OU for here to be wr1 and what did that change for his long term?

Unless they are guaranteed draft picks on day 1 or 2 you should try to get the most money possible right now

I guarantee all of this you’re saying would go out of the window if it was just flipped and we got the player.

Idk why you’re trying to create a scenario where taking more money is shortsighted based off “a chance at a lottery ticket”, you just wanted him to stay and he didn’t…Which is fine we all did too lmao

Yes $50k is chump change.

Would you rather be a summer intern at Goldman Sachs making $30 an hour for the future opportunities it could lead to or would you rather be a bartender and make $50 an hour? Based upon your posting you'd probably think the bartender job is "better" b/c you make more money over the summer.

The "chance at the lottery" was my way of saying being WR1 at Miami gives him a better chance of being drafted in the first 2 rounds and making generational money. Being WR3 at Bama is a great way for him to be an UDFA.
