Isaiah Horton is not hurt

actually it’s not. Maybe I could have stated it differently. But they play the same position and Horton should be playing 80-90 percent of the snaps in the same way JG and XR do. Horton and Brown play close to 50 percent each. And when I say Brown plays alot of snaps ahead of Horton, I could have said Brown plays a lot of snaps INSTEAD of Horton. I’ll stand on that.
Vs duke Horton played 48 snaps and brown 32. Vs fsu horton 60 and brown 30. Louisville Horton 49 and brown 32

Yeah it feels strange to criticize Cam because he’s just so **** good, but the deep ball needs work
Agree our explosives come from the intermediate game which is fine but for his own improvement it would be cool to see the deep ball.

It feels like on some critical down and distances Brown has been in and been the target and dropped the ball.

He's an awesome possession receiver. Just reliable as **** when you need those tough yards.

Would really like for us to get a difference maker in the portal to pair with him next year, especially with Brown's NIL money coming off the books

My only pushback is that we don't really have deep ball WRs. idk if any of these guys can get open on a 9 like that.
I thought about that. I’m not sure either. I “think” Horton can be that guy but we just don’t see it

He’s still just a sophomore which is nice. He’s really stepped up this year you can tell the work he’s put in

I missed it what was the penalty on the second TD he caught that was called back?
We had like every penalty imaginable on that one

Carpenter was downfield and Mauigoa was holding. Kind of a ****** hold imo because the defender was twisting and had his back turned to Mauigoa

And OL being downfield is just such a common thing

That play if it’s a TD and we win, was simply incredible

We all know what happened today. What the **** ever is all I got.

Anyway

Back in the spring I predicted he would be our #2 receiver this year when everyone was melting down about Colbie

That kid is a grown *** man at WR and sky is the limit for him. Makes some tough catches and plays like every play is his last
What happened? I'm on vacation and quit watching.

Wow, all the little things that have helped us win went wrong today. Biggest thing is 3rd and 4th down. We have been really good on those downs and they just weren't clicking today.

The 3rd downs today were brutal. We’ve been otherworldly good until today and we needed a few of those in the early part of the game

Cam missed some easy throws (for him) I thought

Horton is going to be a stud next year. Good size, decent speed, CATCHES THE BALL. Pair him with someone that can take the top off of the defense, and you have something going on. Maybe that guy is already on the roster, but there's nothing wrong with supplementing that with some experienced portal talent.

I guess we won't get to see Jo Jo Trader or Ny Carr this year in extensive action. Restrepo is excellent, Horton is very good, George is pretty good. Brown is decent. We really could use another stud WR to develop for next year.

Oh im hammered, yeah ykur initial response makes sense after re-reading it lmao.

You've got to get separation to run that route at some point. QB isn't going to throw that ball if they can't - at some point - get a yard on someone, especially when our guys don't have the speed to test a player when they need to flip their hips on that route. That is when that separation is made.

Horton can catch a 9, but its going to be a 50/50 ball.

Guys like Horton have a role on every offense in America.
