You lost me, especially with the Bama stuff? They aren’t a top 10 team and should have 2 losses if Sellers wouldn’t have fumbled on that RPO.

Only a certain subset of Miami fans think that. But they were vocal on CIS right up until the UF game and are waiting to post the I Told You So thread the moment we lose.

We literally have the #1 offense in the country with a 5 deep RB room. Was this kid gonna come here to take Allen’s 1.5 carries per game? How big would the meltdown have been if he came here and took C Johnson’s 2-3 touches per game?

Brown is their #1 back and is playing well. That said look deeper at his stats. He went for 2 big runs this year. A 77 yard TD against Austin Pea where he had 5-123 and a TD. He also had a 53 yard run against SMU in a game that he went 10-117. Otherwise he is not a big play guy. His other 100 yard game was 20-146 against UVA with a 23 yard long run.

Fletcher and Martinez combined 23-123 2 TDs against Cal, a game that RBs ran the ball 7X in the second half, with 3-4 of those being short yardage plays. I’m fine with our punishing run game. It’s gonna pay dividends later in the year.

I can’t speak for other fans, but MY point is when people say “team X sucks and/or isn’t good, we have nothing to worry about” presumably because how they have played other teams, means absolutely nothing for when they play us. Agree or disgree?

Correct. Not just for us but every game in CFB is an unknown until they get out on the field and play.

That doesn't mean we think that we are going to lose the game or that we suck. Our team has struggled the last 2 games and Louisville is a solid team that will be up to play us.

Lot of other reasons why some of us have concerns about this game. We just can't ignore what happened the last two weeks, and when we play decent competition in general. It's always a battle to the end. I hope you are right and this game is a cake walk. My heart and body can't take another game like the last two.

Cal/Va Tech compared to Louisville is almost no comparison at all. The former gave us problems due to stingy D(no difdy) and being above average on the LOS, plus multiple turnovers in each game. Louisville is not great on the lines. Yes, they have a good offense but they aren't equipped to stop us at all consistently.
