UM pleaded to have a verdict reached before the season started.. NCAA didn't seem to care. Obviously this will be their only other chance to rectify (to some extent) the situation.. So, does it happen? My mind is telling me no... but my body (repeat) is telling me yes!

Whatever. All that matters is the season. The NCAA can do whatever and kick rocks, I'm more worried about the games.

Completely agree.. but our next game isn't for 12 days & there's only so much one can say about Sav St. (and UM closed its doors to reporters)

I don't think they care. I don't think that they care that anyone else cares. I have to say, from the few CFB shows that I've watched/listened to, when it comes up, the media types have been overwhelmingly in UM's favor recognizing the pure absurdity of aspects of the whole process, and in particular the time frame. I've been surprised by that. But I don't think it has any bearing on anything.

So I take it that ilovelamp is having a R. Kelly moment right now, right?

Like the AD says, "I woke up to find it's one day closer."

Very true. I'm just bored so my mind for to wandering.. Could UM football be closed to the media for a reason? Highly unlikely.. but it passes the time.

Anybody keeping track anymore as to what week this is? I believe week 9 or 10?

I believe we are coming up on 14 weeks.

The NCAA has shown a clear anti-bias in this entire investigation. When they finally decide what the punishment will be if there is any at all and the NCAA wants an answer by such and such date Miami should string them along for years until they're good and GD ready. Fock these incompetent losers and their BS rules. Miami has enough ammo to tell them to go fock themselves. I wouldn't cooperate at all with these scumbags. **** I wouldn't even acknowledge their ruling. And if they have a problem with I would tell them we'll see you ***** *** motha fuggers in court.

This has become an absolute **** show.

Naw...many schools close down media during the Bye week. It isnt that uncommon. I know we joked when the Gators and USC both closed down the media after their losses but we did the same thing. I think thats just a part of S.O.P. now! No distractions....Time to get better. As for the NC-DOUBLE FU's I really can careless either anymore. It will get here when it gets here. However I hate having the dead week but this one was just a bit sweetier because of the weekend before!

I am starting to think that they are looking at games that the can return to us as wins, instead of vacating. Prob saying "Between Coker, Shannon, and this Investigation we owe UM..."

I figured the NCAA would be ****ed about us beating their little darling Gaytors, and deliver their so-called "verdict" sometime this week. Maybe Emmert is taking longer than we thought to wash Shapiro's naked back in the prison shower, whilst giving Nevin a little reach-around of his own. ******* ph@gots.

im indifferent at this point. the ncaa will do what they want to do. all the canes have to do is to continue to win games.

I've tried to ignore this mess as of late.... but somebody please tell me why we are not fearful of the NCAA handing down a postseason ban for this year? Due to an appeal on our end? Or because the penalties take time to become finalized? Enlighten.

Because Miami will sue the fock out them and win. Have you not been paying attention? Miami is playing chess while the NCAA is playing checkers. Miami is holding a Royal Flush while the NCAA is bluffing. The NCAA wanted to fry Miami and they royally focked themselves.

You have to look at the NCAA investigation and the Committee on Infractions ruling as two separate entities.

The NCAA's investigation was outrageous, from the claims all the way through the length of time it took to render charges.

However the COI is pretty much working at a standard pace compared to other rulings in the past, 4 months is the norm these days. I believe the ruling will likely come the off week before UNC. I don't believe we are going to see anything more than minimal scholarship loss at most.
