To be frank:

One was earned, the other was by happenstance b/c the actual winner of the North had a Covid outbreak.

Furthermore, this is by far the biggest b/c everything is aligning perfectly for us to not just make the ACCCG, but make the CFP. So yes, this is his biggest game of his career. He had clear paths to the CFP in 2019, & 2021 & it faltered. A lot of demons can be exercised Saturday

If you can’t win this game after three years of roster building, buttressed by an investment of close to $100mm, with the best quarterback in the country, then you have no business as the head coach of UM. Yes, given what Mario wants to be here, this is the biggest game of his career. Win, you’re in the dance. Lose and…

Absolutely overall. If he loses this his career is taking a huge step back. If he wins he's in playoff contention.

Pretty cut & dry IMO. You have an opportunity to get to the dance, all you have to do is beat a team that you are 1000% without a doubt more talented than.

But, I think the same question could be asked next week if we beat SU. It’s a chance to do something that has never been done here, and earn yourself a useful bye.

But to answer your question, for this game, yes.

He has more than one game leading to a National Title. Look at his career. If he won out in other seasons he also would have won a natty.
A lot of people would say that if any coach in any power conference had just won out in most seasons, they too probably would have a natty.

Although I think Hunter has it wrapped up, to have any chance for Cam t/w the Heisman, he needs to have a huge game and come away with a W. Hard to overstate how valuable it would be to the program to have another Heisman winner — and a major feather in Mario’s fedora. Then there’s the conference realignment game, and what it means for Miami to “be back” playing for championships. So much riding on this game.

I wasn't sure, but I thought their might be people that had this outlook.

This, then the ACCCG, and then all playoff games will be his biggest games. Each week more than all previous. One game at a time.
