Is Morris an NFL QB?

**** Im excited for the Future of this offense with Morris and these baby WRs.

Offense will look a lot cleaner when they have someone on the outside like an AJL or other #1 WR. Dorsett would do great things in the slot and sent on verticals ala old school Brandon Stokely. Offense would also look a lot cleaner if Fisch would take adderall.

He has a lot of what it takes to be one, but he's not there yet.

What do you need to see out of him to consider him an NFL QB?

The three things I pointed out earlier in the year that separate excellent athletes and guys with "tools" from NFL QBs: anticipation, touch and readability.

I congratulate him on his fantastic day, but we had a lot of things bounce our way that we cannot expect to happen consistently. He threw at least a half a dozen balls into double or triple coverage and had a potential pick-6 go through a defender's hands and end up as a TD. Hey, that's the way the ball bounces sometimes and it worked for us today. But, I just don't want the fans to freak the **** out when he has a 4 INT game.

Well gotta remember it only takes one NFL guy to say "yeah we can make him an NFL QB"

Being from Miami gets him a leg up as well.

His short memory will serve him well also.

That's not how I think most interpret the question "is he an NFL QB?" I think that question means if he can legitimately play in the NFL. Not like Brock Berlin, but actually have a career in the NFL - even if it's as a backup. I think he will get there, but he's not currently there.

I explained my thoughts in the first post I made, just was expanding it a little bit.

I agree with you that the tools are there but he just needs more seasoning. Still only what, 8 starts? Say what you will about Fisch but sticking with him another year can only help his NFL stock. I think he will wind up being a pretty solid draft pick.

....like that's not going to happen.

I know. They should, though. Personally, I'm enjoying the **** out of these games because my expectations have yet to get out of control. When NCSt came storming back in the second half, I just reacted like "hey, that makes sense...we weren't going to get 4 TOs and 2 fluke plays again." It's great to be excited, but I'm already hearing talk of ACC championships and whatnot. I think that's dangerous.
