Excellent rant. Canes fans have been spoiled for a long time. Sadly, we want to win so badly that too many bought into the we are back theory earlier this season when we were winning. Just as quickly as fans bought in, they turned on Golden twice as fast. It seems nobody cares that we were doing much better than we had any right to expect so soon. Nobody cares we lost well over 50% of our offense when Duke and Dorsett went down. Yes, we were embarrassed in the bowl game. It happens. You weren't worried having Crawford as our best running back and only Stacy as a healthy receiver going into that game? You don't change things completely like we needed things changed in two or three years. Butch didn't do it either. It took five years to get back to belonging in the top ten with Butch and he took over a much better club.

that's exactly the point... why would anyone be able to fix that with 2 recruiting classes.

Seriously? Randy was supposed to fix it. Then Gulden. Uh, take away the gimmes against FAU, USF & Savannah State and we would have won 6. Also, that UiF win doesn't look so good anymore does it? Finally, we gave up more yards on D than in the HISTORY of Miami football. This asshat hasn't adjusted his scheme to his players, he forces it on them. No chance this admin will let him even BEND rules so where the **** is he going to get the time to fully implement his D? Never, that's when. You don't have to wait four ******* years to get your D going. Two max with two recruiting classes and a few kids off the waiver wire and you ADJUST and ADAPT!

As far as the fans who were going crazy with title talk were just being ridiculous. Anyone with some sense knew this was likely not a title team to start the season. I'm so tired of listening to the Golden defenders talk about wins, because it shows how ignorant you are to what people are unhappy about. Any rational fan can tell this is not a 9 win team if they played last year. This team was embarrassing on the field and regressed from the prior year. Last year's team brought hope. This year's team brought doubt.

Its Goldens fault.....you know why? Not for the bowl game or the horrible defense 2 years in a row or for flirting with PSU. No its because he acts like its all going dandy and all we need to do is wait. We have seen that before. Time doesnt equal improvement. Our defense is terrible and acting like its anything more than that is patronizing and not changing anything is infuriating.
