Why is it dumb? HS olineman are a crapshoot to begin with and usually need 3 years in a program. He left USC and is probably going to get alot more money than what Nico is getting. Better to allocate that towards actual needs at the Dline and RB rather than a backup IOL.

Next year can go and grab a plug and play starter to play center like they've done with Lee and Carpenter.

Our kicker brought in for the 2024 class is ranked higher than this Nico guy.

Not being a ratings ***** but I have no idea they wasted a scholarship on him. Guarantee he hits the portal within 2 years.

Maybe. He was definitely a project. But apparently so is this guy.
