Not saying he can yet because brand new coaches and system and hasn't played a game but just sticking up for NJ since I live there and jersey constantly gets dogged on this site

My thoughts: No mention of Juwon Young when talking about Mike competition? Did I miss something? Is he now an OLB?

JYoung is 2nd on the depth chart at MLB...But JY can play SLB

I like to see how well C.Perry plays at SLB when the pads are on........This kid is fast...


Ryan Mayes, Michael Jackson, and Terrance Henley are also competing for a starting role with Redwine.

And you were told this by who? Since many of these kids have played little to not at all, how did you come to these conclusions? Who told you McCray would be moved to FB? Does not mentioning a guy in a single article conclude he's Will vs Mike? Without seeing the defense and the CB's play how can yo conclude we're in trouble? We certainly lack depth, but Hendley is fast and Redwine is a very capable long armed CB. Similar with Michael Jackson, he's a skilled CB as well with prototype size. Of the three DB's coming in, Malek because he's a true CB, probably the only one of the three that will see time. Best bet probably Findley at Safety. Why some insist on casting kids like Gordinier and others out is baffling since many haven't played yet and "none" have played in this scheme or being coached by a group of real coaches. Luckily we have a staff that will actually allow these deserving young men a chance to compete and not judge them on their chat room popularity.
 
We can bash Golden all day on his record and his **** product he put on the field every week..

But lets be real he could recruit and brought in some very nice prospects....sad part is he never developed anyone so they still were prospects all the way till they got drafted by the NFL who saw potential

No he can't recruit. Bringing in 5 good prospects and then the rest of the class is filled with projects and reaches isn't good recruiting.

I understand we all are opinionated here and it's certainly your right, but you missed my question, as to how you drew your opinion, since most of the kids you mentioned have played insignificantly or not at all. Plus they had no coaching, sensible decision making or schemes. Even opinions have to based on some factual evidence. Just asking homeboy.
