Legacy aside, he’s a good prospect but if staff is going for a second te this class I would expect a more blocking ready te, not Maryland

Folks need to think bigger picture here. The Maryland family is HIGH character, hard workers, leaders. Russell himself was a completely overlooked recruit who worked harder than anyone on the team while he was at UM.

Ask those players from the late 80s about Russell. Absolute leader. I'm not knocking any of the blue-chip talent we just signed, but it never hurts to have a natural leader in that locker room as well. We aren't going to sign 29 5-stars.
